I really liked the shoes . However they did not quite go with the dress I am going to wear to my son’s wedding.They are not leather. The toe strap on the right shoe dug into my toe just trying them on. I figured I’d be in agony by the end of the event.

So I like this style of shoe with the wide strap across the toes, the heel support, the ankle strap, and the chunky heel. I tried the same style shoe from Ann Klein and Naturalizer. I saw that Steve Madden had one as well. I did not expect LifeStride to be as stylish as the other brands. But I was so pleasantly surprised. The ankle strap hits just right, on the other brands it hit too low and was too tight for me. The asymmetrical toe strap is fun and comfortable. The back zipper adds another fun element that’s easy to use and comfortable. I usually don’t like a square toe but this one aligns with my toes so well. The height of the heel is a nice 2-3/4″ and the chunky heel is so easy to walking and dancing. Lastly, the textured silver is beautiful. I usually prefer real leather because it is softer and lasts longer but I am giving these great shoes a chance. They are definitely soft and I am hoping they will last!!

These are beautiful sandals. I ordered them for a semi formal outdoor wedding. They were dressy and yet very supportive. I loved the fact that the strap over the ball of your foot was a little wider on the side. (Sometimes the shoes with straight across straps then to make you look like you have a bunion–or squeeze the toes together.) If you are looking at these, don’t hesitate–purchase them! You’ll love them.

The ankle strap is very high. Additionally, it creates an effect that makes it look like the shoe is too big for me.
