I wish I had tried these boots on in a store before ordering online. They look nice online, but up close they are really synthetic-looking and clunky. Cost me $35 to return them to LifeStride. Will never order online again!

I really like this boot. Feels good, looks good, and the price is right. Just wish it were more leather and a little less stretchy panel. But that’s what helps it feel so nice, I suppose. My slightly wide foot fits well in this boot.

Not crazy about the knit fabric panel. But the real problem was the width. Even though I ordered a wide size they were still tight across the width. Normally I don’t always even need a wide shoe.

I was super skeptical. I have very very large calves. Nothing ever fits them- and if they do it looks so strange. These are perfection. The back of the boot is like the material of a sock. I plan on wearing them with skinny jeans and also commando faux leather leggings. I’m so excited. Thank you Zappos for providing endless choices and fabulous customer service!!!

These are beautiful and well made. I have wide feet and unfortunately they weren’t in stock in my size so I ordered a half size smaller in a wide size and they were slightly too narrow, but I expect that if ordered in the correct size they would be true to size. I am going to have to return them but I hope to purchase them again when they’re in stock in my size!

OMG. After a long-term exploring, I finally find the perfect fit boots. I have 16″ wide calves. All the wide calf boots are too wide for me, these boots fit me so well. I also have wide, thick feet, these boots have enough room for my feet. I love the soles come with soft cushions, which makes the boots super comfortable. I really recommend these boots for petite size women, I am short (5 feet), these boots are right below my knees which is great for me. The leather is not bad (but not excellent), compared to the price, you get what you pay for.

I REALLY wanted to love these boots! Unfortunately, I can’t and returned. The boots sag horribly at the ankles. I kept having to tug at them for them to look half way decent on. I eventually gave up and put on a different pair of boots.

This is the second pair of Lifestride boots I have purchased. The first pair lasted me over five years and I loved them. Alas, my toes have gotten wider and I needed boots with a rounder toe and wider toe box. These boots gave me exactly that with the same classic riding boot style that I like. The inside lining is nice and soft and the shoe bed is well cushioned. I like the look of the stretchy back material and there is plenty of space to tuck in pants. These boots are well made and half the price or more of other designer boots that are not as comfortable for me. Definitely a bargain.

The back stretchy part of the boot is really thin-just like a knit sock! My overall impression was that the boot was not well made.

I ordered two different brands of brown boots. The other, I was sure, would be the pair I’d keep because I own at least three other pairs of shoes by that manufacturer. Nope! Both were equally attractive, and both had a comfortable stretchy elastic panel down the back. But this pair felt like walking on air due to the excellent padding in the foot bed. As soon as I compared the two, the other pair went back in the box to return!

Would be a great boot, but unlike other Lifestride boots, these fit about half size smaller. Because I usually order a 10W, I waited and ordered the 11W. Well..the 11W is way too big and bulky in the shoe. LOVE the back sweater like stretch material. Just wish these came in half sizes. for some reason the 10 is just too tight, and I don’t know if they would stretch out properly…not being leather or anything. Shame…these were my favorite and would have ordered them in 2 colors if they fit. Shoe designers should get on board and realize that there are definitely women out there who need a 10 1/2…and its usually hard to find.

Like other reviewers mentioned, the foot is way too narrow – and I have narrow feet. Had to return, which is to bad because they are nice looking shoes.

Fir wide calf easily with the whole back being stretch. However, the shaft lacked structure and it started slouching just while trying on.

The fit of the boot were fine. The material in the back was too large. If it was a smaller piece that would have been fine but, it was too much.

Comfortable boots with a nice stretchy calf due to the knit panel. The downside is the fit is slightly loose due to this, and there’s a little sagging of the shift at the ankle. Cute though, and a generous fit for bigger calves.

These boots are very comfortable. I like that the back panel is so stretchy. I ordered a 7.5 wide. I probably could have ordered an 8 instead for a little extra toe room. I wear thin socks with them and could easily wear these boots all day without an issue. I will be ordering another pair in a different color.

These fit well and were comfy, but the look of them left something to be desired. They just looked too shiny, almost plasticky, not like leather. Loved the color but I couldn’t get past the sheen.

The size was fine and the stretchy calf is nice for those of us between regular and wide, but there was really no support. I’m surprised at the other reviews saying how comfortable they were. I have high arches, that often hurt, and it felt like walking barefoot on a hard floor. If you don’t need good arch support, these might work for you.
